Kent Morehead brings over 40 years of experience to Optima Asset Management Services and Core Realty Holdings. His clientele over the years has included the likes of independent land owners, hospitality management companies, residential brands, golf associations and operators. His career has been devoted to hotel, resort, residential and recreational management in addition to consulting where he assisted clients in creation, acquisition, improvement, management and disposition of unique and successful properties.
As a graduate of Arizona State University, and Certified Hotel Administrator through the American Hotel and Lodging Association, Kent began his career with major hotel, resort and gaming brands such as Dell Webb, Americana and Wynn. His collective experience has taken him to Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Texas, New Jersey, Nevada and California.
In 1992, Kent became a partner with James T. Kelley & Associates, Inc. The hospitality consulting firm was located in Newport Beach, California. During his tenure he was involved with involved with feasibility, due diligence, concept, programming, planning, design, entitlement, financial analysis, restructuring, repositioning, remarketing, development, construction, renovation, project/asset management, and the sale or transfer of over 200 properties, including existing/planned hotels, resorts, residential or golf communities.
