Susan Morehead, President and Co-Founder
Susan Morehead is the driving force behind Optima Asset Management Services Inc. Recognizing the power behind synergistic teamwork, she has nurtured a team of forward-thinking leaders which she is proud to have represent the Optima brand. Her extensive knowledge of the market, combined with her tireless dedication to first class service has propelled the company to the forefront of their industry. With more than 30 years of diverse experience, Susan works closely with her team to ensure efficiency, quality, and attentive customer care are always exceeding expectations. Her commitment to her clientele and team of esteemed professionals has resulted in the cultivation of loyal clientele at the hands of a well tenured team that spans decades.
Prior to founding Optima Asset Management Services, Susan was Senior Vice President of Public Storage. During her celebrated tenure, Susan helped successfully launch and grow their Commercial Properties Group. This division developed office space and industrial parks throughout the United States and was a direct reflection of Susan’s vision which built the platform on which the division still operates today. She also spent time with the R&B Commercial Group in Southern California and Texas where her responsibilities included managing office high-rise, mid-rise, retail and specialty centers around Houston’s Texas Galleria and Newport Beach’s Lido Marina Village. After attending Baylor University, Susan began her career with Trammell Crow where she was responsible for the marketing and leasing of apartment homes. Additionally, she spent time with Lincoln Properties and Ralden Homes.
Susan was honored to be nominated in the Orange County Business Journal, Women in Business Awards for 2017 and 2018.She also had the distinction of being featured in Modern Luxury Magazine June 2018 Women to Watch Issue. A pillar of the community, Susan is passionate about giving back. Through her leadership, Susan and Optima Asset Management Services have proudly served on the board of, and supported organizations such as the Child Abuse Prevention Center, Royal Kids Family Camp, AASK (Aid to Adoption of Special Kids), CHOC Children’s Hospital, The American Red Cross, Connecting Hands of Orange County and the Orange County Food Bank through service, sponsorship and donations. Susan also has been on the forefront of mentoring and empowering the next generation of female leaders in the continuously evolving workplace. She embraces each opportunity to pay it forward and serve others.
